The Strongest Battlegrounds
Beginner Guide
Last updated: July 7, 2026
Learn movement, combos, and ability timing to win more fights in TSB.
How TSB Works
The Strongest Battlegrounds is an ability-based PvP fighter. Each character has a unique moveset with M1 combos, block, dash, and an ultimate.
Matches are fast β learn one character deeply before spreading out. Redeem codes on our codes page for free Yen and spins.
Controls and Movement
Master dashing and blocking first. Most beginners lose because they spam abilities without managing cooldowns.
Use the training area to practice combo routes. Watch when opponents whiff β that's your punish window.
Choosing a Character
Pick one S or A tier character from our tier list and stick with it for a week.
Avoid chasing every new release until you understand neutral game β spacing, baiting blocks, and ultimate timing.
Earning Yen Faster
Complete daily challenges and match win streaks. Codes are the fastest early boost β check our active list before buying spins.
Save Yen for banner characters instead of cosmetics when starting out.
Advanced Tips
Learn animation canceling on your main. Track enemy ultimates and play around long cooldowns.
In team lobbies, target isolated players and avoid getting caught in chain ultimates.
